Glossary of Terms
In my stories, I will throw around various terms or words that might be confusing, and I will do so assuming the reader understands so the the character's don't have to monolog (much). This page has terms that will be found throughout the site and stories.
- Impression
- The act of linking two minds - human and dragon - in a life long bond. This term is native to Pern only. See also: bonding
- Weyrleader
- The male/masculine leader of the Weyr. Is in charge of managing and training the fighting wings.
- Between
- The space of nothingness while teleporting to a new location. See also: teleporting
